On Thursday, the Missouri Senate confirmed three department directors appointed during the interim by Gov. Eric Greitens.
Anna Hui was confirmed to the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Rob Dixon to Economic Development and Steve Corsi to Social Services. All served as acting directors while they awaited Senate confirmation.
Greitens tweeted, “Thanks to the Missouri Senate for confirming three of our directors today. They’re doing great work for our state, and helping to win jobs for Missourians! @MoDOLIRDirector @DixonRob @SteveCorsi.”
Ray McCarty welcomed the new directors.
“We are happy to see Ms. Hui and Mr. Dixon were confirmed in their respective positions leading the Missouri departments of labor and economic development,” said McCarty, president and CEO of Associated Industries of Missouri. “Both of these directors are extremely qualified and it is great to see the governor appointing people with the experience necessary to make a real difference for Missouri employers,” he said.
