Yesterday’s special election yielded a great outcome for the business community.
Representative Sandy Crawford (R) was elected to the Missouri Senate, filling a seat left vacant when Lt. Governor Mike Parson was elected to his current position. Rep. Crawford has always been a friend of Missouri business, scoring a 100% voting record with Associated Industries of Missouri and earning support of the AIM Political Action Committee in the election.
Also supported by AIMPAC in the election was Sara Walsh (R), running to fill the state representative seat vacated by former Rep. Caleb Jones when he was appointed to a high level position in Governor Greitens’ office. Ms. Walsh was also successful in her election and we are looking forward to her service in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Associated Industries of Missouri congratulates both of these winners! We look forward to working with them to advance the cause of Missouri employers.
