According to a release sent out by the Missouri Department of Economic Development, exports from the state of Missouri may reach historic levels as a team representing the Show-Me State embarks on a trade mission to the Middle East later this month.
Gov. Jay Nixon will lead a trade delegation to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Nov. 18 to Nov. 22. The trip could result in increased exports to the Middle East, as well as foreign investments in the Sh0w-Me State. The trade mission comes on the heels of Missouri exports reaching nearly $10.6 billion annually to date, a $700 million increase from January to September exports in 2014, the year state exports reached an all-time high.
